Synopsis

Jim, 15, who lives in France, has asked his stepfather Abdel to adopt him. So when his father Neil turns up from Britain, Jim – who hasn't seen him in five years - is deeply upset. Neil refuses to give up his rights as Jim's dad and wants to make amends. But isn't it too late?

Director

Thady studied Literature at a postgraduate level while training as an actor at the Conservatoire of Montpellier in France. He directed plays by Harold Pinter and Heiner Muller, before taking up writing. His first plays were awarded prizes by the SACD/ Beaumarchais and RTBF/De L'Autre Coté des Ondes. Since 2015 he has written fiction for French national radio, France Inter. Prominent in his work is the emphasis on memory and exile. Born in Britain, Thady lives and works in France.
