Starling Film Club (Face/Off)

In simple terms, we pick a film each month to watch and then meet up to discuss it! Simple as that. 

Our club is aiming to be a social event for people who love film! We`ll discuss what we liked about the film, what we didnt like,  and basically anything, and everything in between!  And this month we are celebrating the man, the myth, the legend that is Nicolas Cage!

In honour of the American actors,  this months film is.... Face/Off!

About the film:

To foil a terrorist plot, FBI agent Sean Archer assumes the identity of the criminal Castor Troy who murdered his son through facial transplant surgery, but the crook wakes up prematurely and vows revenge.

FAQ

1. Where can I watch the films? Will they be showing them at the venue?

Unfortunately not.  We wont be screening the films on the night, simply discussing them. We ask that people watch the films beforehand! You can find where to watch this months film here

 

2. How much to attend? 

Nothing, film club is completely free!

3. How long is film club on for?

We aim for our film club to last a couple of hours but people are free to leave whenever they want.

4. What if I dont like the film?

Thats okay! Makes for an interesting discussion. 

5. How do you choose what film to watch?

This is chosen by the people who attend. We usually pick a theme/genre/director and choose from a list!

6. How often do you meet?

Once a month, last Tuesday of every month!
