FILM SYNOPSIS

After 38 years of work, Romano takes early retirement and returns to his native village in Piedmont to live simply and in harmony with nature.

DIRECTOR SYNOPSIS

Jacek Redzko began his creative journey in film as a creative director in advertising agencies, where he worked on numerous commercial projects. In 2017, he expanded into independent documentary filmmaking, creating works such as "A Family Hemp Story," "Free," and "Profession: Barber." His 2020 film "Replacement" and his 2023 work "The Sowing" both received several awards and wide recognition at international festivals. "Ahead of Dusk" is his first Italian documentary. Jacek lives and creates in Poland and Italy.
