FILM SYNOPSIS

A devastating motorcycle crash ends the career of Michael, a once-promising professional racer, leaving him paralysed and confined to a wheelchair. As the years pass and age begins to weigh on his body, the roar of engines and memories of the track refuse to fade.

In the quiet of his garage, Michael turns to the very sport that changed his life. Surrounded by tools, oil, and fading photographs, he begins restoring and rebuilding motorcycles from a forgotten era of racing.

With every engine he brings back to life, he holds onto the hope that these bikes will one day race again, carrying his passion back onto the track.

His work has taken him to many corners of the world, from sharing tea with Bedouin tribesmen in Jordan to documenting scientists uncovering new biodiverse DNA in the jungle soils of Costa Rica. 

He enjoys working with people, places, and circumstances that cultivate a barrier-down approach to filmmaking, where stillness promotes free thinking, enabling fluidity and creative autonomy to thrive, both behind and in front of the lens.
