HYMN FOR A ROSE

Nix Sharp and Aster Lenhart are both recent Animation graduates from

the School of Visual Arts in New York City, New York. Sharp’s focus is on

artistic direction and background art. Additionally, they are also a

puppeteer and lover of anything the color orange. Lenhart’s focus is on

character, prop, and clean-up animation work! They love folklore, gothic

literature, Halloween, and silly little cats.

Both artists are so grateful to have their film be screened overseas for the

first time! They created this film together to see what kind of world their

art would create. Truly, they combined our favorite interests - character

designs inspired by Victorian fashion and background art swirling in

nature. Every step of the way, they drew what they wanted and developed

a passion project they are incredibly proud of.
