FILM SYNOPSIS
To be called handsome is such a weird thing, specially after being left many times before by different men. The handsome promised he will never allow to be hurt again, even after the right one just appeared in his life. Can the promise of true love overcome the fear of pain? Is it a risk worth taking?
DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHY
Marcelo Núñez is a peruvian actor-director who started his career on theatre as a child actor. His first film 'Father's day' (2024) was screened in several festivals around the world including the Seoul Senior Film Festival.
His second film 'Red Mist: A portrait of man' (2025) won him the best director award at the Oklahoma Cine Latino Film Festival and was also shown at the Seattle Latino Film Festival.
'A handsome man' (2026) is his first film shot on celluloid and premiered in Dublin at the Queer Spectrum Film Festival 2026. It has also selected for OutSouth Queer FIlm Festival, Outfest Peru, among others.
