FILM SYNOPSIS

Nabi is an Afghan migrant worker in Iran who is fired as a janitor after 25 years of working in a tower. He must fulfill his 25-year-old duties for the last day and leave like a man who never existed.

DIRECTOR SYNOPSIS

Hamed Golshahi, b. 1987, is an award-winning Iranian film and theatre artist with an MA in Dramatic Literature from Tehran University Of Art. Since 2013, he has been working as a writer, director, and producer in cinema and a playwright in theater. His debut short film, "High Tide 2019" premiered at the 25th Kolkata International Film Festival (KIFF) and has been screened in +12 Film International Festivals and won a title globally, including the 8th Tracce Cinematografiche Film Fest.

He recently made his second short film called "Nabi" in 2024.
