FILM SYNOPSIS

A man wakes up in a deadly game of Rock Paper Scissors. Again. He’s been here before, won before, and honestly? He’s over it. Tired of the endless life-or-death rounds, he just wants to lose this time and call it a day. But convincing his fellow players to let him lose isn’t as easy as it sounds, especially with an unseen psychopath pulling the strings and everyone else taking the game way too seriously. Can he trick reason with them and save their lives? Or will he be stuck in this deadly game of Rock Paper Scissors Death forever?

DIRECTOR SYNOPSIS

Dayle Saunders has worked in media in some way, shape or form for the last 10 years, working across a range of mediums including commercial, corporate, TV and film. She has primarily focused on working in production and building her skillset there but has always wanted to get back to her original passion of directing. This is her second short in a decade, now with years of producing experience and having met some amazing filmmakers, she presents Rock Paper Scissors Death!

Dayle's work has themes of dark humour with a very much absurdist view. The aim is to point out the absurdity of our lives and decide to laugh at it rather than dwell on the abyss that is the reality of life without meaning or purpose. So, traumatic, but not that serious!
