FILM SYNOPSIS

A local fisherwoman navigates her way through a male dominated environment to work in an industry that has been essential to island life for hundreds of years.

She Fishes explores Jersey’s fishing industry from past to present and its future through the eyes of a local fisherwoman, raises the importance of having visibility for women within the industry, and showcases how a local sustainable fishery operates.
