FILM SYNOPSIS

A small blue crochet owl lives quietly in her magical, colourful shelter, until a set of surreal events triggers long-forgotten dreams about being able to fly. She embarks on a journey through mysterious worlds, where she will have to confront her difficult memories, limitations and feelings of inadequacy. She will encounter many weird creatures that’ll help her accept herself for who she is, discover her true talents and learn to live in peace far from external expectations.
The 2-minute movie is a teaser of a short animation I am currently working on and seeking funds for, but I think that the little movie is a worthwhile experience itself.

DIRECTOR SYNOPSIS

Agata’s mission is to fill the void in people's hearts and bring them closer to nature. She tries to do it by telling surreal stories that teach kindness and cherish diversity, through adventures of curious characters that explore beautiful magical worlds. She uses various mediums to tackle difficult topics of disconnection and mental health, but in a gentle, humorous and wholesome way.

Author of indie games like hand-drawn „Karambola” about helping out emotional fruit-people, and „Odgłos” - about Polish Radio Experimental Studio, where electronic sounds come to life through stop-motion animation. 

Quite an awkward human and founder of Holy Pangolin Studio. Loves cats, bird-watching, and coffee.
