FILM SYNOPSIS

Vincenzo is on his first date with Sara, he asks for help from an application based on AI, which suggests what to say. A love story is born and they organize a blind date for their best friends, advising them both to use AI.

DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHY

Born in 1980, Gianluca Zonta studied Computer Science and Cinema at DAMS and attended the "Carlo Mazzacurati" Screenwriting Master.

In 2009, he created Italy’s first web series, "COPS", marking his early exploration of digital storytelling. In 2015, he was a finalist for the Solinas Award with the screenplay for "Teresa, Luisa and the #NotteRosa".

He has directed several acclaimed short films, including "Pizza Boy" (2019), presented at the Rome Film Festival in the Alice nella città section and winner of over 50 awards worldwide; "The Right to Vote" (2021), a political sci-fi story awarded at the Elche and Galacticat festivals in Spain; and "The Aquarium" (2024), a witty and thought-provoking tale of love and artificial intelligence, premiered at Cortinametraggio and winner of more than 70 awards at Italian and international festivals.
